About Me
I am a Spartanburg native. I graduated from Spartanburg High School. I then went on to Charleston Southern University where I received an Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career in the fall of 2010 in Berkeley County in 2nd grade. I have since taught 7 years in Berkeley County (six of them in 2nd grade, one in third) and 1 year in Spartanburg District 4 in 2nd grade. I am married to Michael Weiss and we have one sweet daughter. I am thrilled to be in District 6 at PGS and to be teaching Second Grade. PGS creates a family environment where students are not only learners, but leaders. My passion is to challenge all students to become life long learners. I strive to facilitate learning in every aspect of our day. I have a strong passion for what I do and for the children whose lives I get to be a small part of.
