About Me

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to another great school year.  I would like to begin by introducing myself.  My name is Kaylee Foster Miller and I graduated in May 2014 from USC Upstate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned a Master’s in Education with Anderson University. I just recently finished my EDS in Administration with Converse College. This is my sixth year teaching at PGS. My husband is a pilot. I love to travel, go flying with Kyle, spend time with family, and eat lots of sushi! My favorite football team is Clemson. Go TIGERS! I just know that this is going to be a great school year!

At PGS, teachers use the College and Career Readiness and South Carolina State Standards to guide our instruction.  Your child will receive instruction daily in Reading, English Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Science/Social Studies, and Handwriting, as well as Music, Art, PE, Library, Computer Technology, and Guidance throughout the week.  My goal is for all of my students to have fun while learning as much as they possibly can.

Homework Folders will be sent home daily with assignments.  Make sure to sign the Newsletter in the folder each day so I know that all homework assignments have been completed.  Friday Folders will go home each Friday with student work.  Please review the papers with your child so they can learn from their mistakes.  Please keep your child’s papers, but the progress report should be returned with your signature on Mondays.  Our Classroom Behavior Management Plan is explained on the back of this page.  Please go over this with your child, sign the paper, and send it back tomorrow in his/her homework folder.

We are going to have an exciting year together.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me any time.  My email address is KMiller@spart6.org and the school phone number is 583-1868.  You may also send a note in your child’s homework folder. Thank you in advance for your support this year!

                                                         Sincerely,

                                                        Kaylee Miller
